First multicentre study of Versius robot in pediatric urology reports interim safety data

Prospective · J Pediatr Urol · 2026-11-06. Number 3 in the UrologyWatch Top 5 for November 6, 2026.

In 60 procedures (mostly pyeloplasty) across three UK centres, 98.3% were completed robotically with one open conversion and no transfusions; median operative time was 195.5 minutes.

Why it matters: Early prospective data suggest the Versius platform may be feasible for pediatric minimally invasive urology, pending larger follow-up.

Limitation: Interim analysis with only 3-month follow-up, no comparator arm, single device company-associated study.
