Darolutamide plus ADT and radiation cuts metastasis or death risk in high-risk prostate cancer

Study · company release · Business Wire · 2026-10-24. Number 2 in the UrologyWatch Top 5 for October 29, 2026.

In the DASL-HiCaP (ANZUP1801) trial, adding darolutamide to ADT and definitive or salvage radiotherapy reduced the risk of metastasis or death by 58% compared to ADT and radiotherapy alone in patients with localized very high-risk prostate cancer. This is a randomized phase 3 result in a population selected for high recurrence risk.

Why it matters: These randomized data support consideration of adding darolutamide to ADT and radiotherapy for very high-risk localized prostate cancer.

Limitation: Meeting presentation; full peer-reviewed details may follow.
