APCCC 2026 panel reaches consensus on only a third of questions in high-risk/recurrent prostate cancer

Guideline · Eur Urol · 2026-10-27. Number 3 in the UrologyWatch Top 5 for October 27, 2026.

An international 133-member expert panel voted on 134 questions regarding high-risk localized, locally advanced, and biochemically recurrent prostate cancer; consensus (≥75% agreement) was reached on only 44 questions (33%), with strong consensus (≥90%) on 7.

Why it matters: Highlights the many areas of management, including PSA persistence and recurrence, where high-level evidence is still lacking and practice varies among experts.
