Adding belzutifan or quavonlimab to pembrolizumab-lenvatinib fails to improve PFS or OS in RCC

In the phase 3 LITESPARK-012 trial, adding belzutifan or quavonlimab/pembrolizumab to pembrolizumab plus lenvatinib did not improve PFS or OS versus pembrolizumab-lenvatinib alone in first-line advanced clear-cell RCC.
Why it matters: Confirms pembrolizumab plus lenvatinib remains the standard first-line regimen; these additions did not improve outcomes.
Limitation: Median OS not reached in two arms at this analysis; longer follow-up could still show differences.
