STAMPEDE analysis finds no significant cardiovascular risk increase with ARPI intensification

A post hoc analysis of STAMPEDE in 6292 men found 5-year cardiovascular event rates with ARPI intensification (9% in nonmetastatic, 7% in metastatic disease) were comparable to ADT alone, without a statistically significant increase in MACE risk.

Why it matters: Provides reassurance on cardiovascular safety of ARPI treatment intensification in both localized high-risk and metastatic prostate cancer.
